SPLHC Residents’ Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies Original NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter,
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 egg yolk
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


PREHEAT oven to 325° F and grease cookie sheets.
SIFT flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl, and set aside. Mix
melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in vanilla extract , egg and egg yolk. Then gradually mix in sifted ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto greased baking sheets.
BAKE for 15 to 17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
