The Strawberry Point Lutheran Home Community is a multi-faceted campus providing a broad spectrum of living arrangements for retired individuals and those in need of assistance or nursing care. This all in one connected community houses the following facilities:Pebler Point Care Center, formerly known as The Strawberry Point Nursing Home, is a long term and skilled nursing facility. Nurse and Certified Nurse’s Aides are on 24 hour duty. Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Massage Therapy are located on the site to aid in restorative services. To complete the team of professionals, a medical director, chaplain, social worker and activity coordinator are on staff to serve the physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs of each resident.
The Gernand Retirement Village offers a lifestyle for tenants to maintain their independence while enjoying support services available within the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home Community. Tenants are active members of the community, who have chosen the Gernand Retirement Village as their home for comfort, convenience and service.
The Swales Assisted Living Facility offers private apartments with personal assistance to help maintain the health and independence of the residents. Services include 24-hour staffing, three daily meals, medication assistance, housekeeping, social activities and much more.
Memory Care Manor – The Chronically Confused and Dementia Illness Unit (CCDI) is a comprehensive care facility including nursing, recreational and support services. Our program aims to meet the healthcare and daily living needs of people with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Memory Care Manor provides a calming environment in which freedom is provided in a secure setting.
S.T.A.R. Out Patient Therapy Clinic is located on the Strawberry Lutheran Home campus.
Area residents are welcome to use the therapy service provided by Northern Iowa Therapy at the muliti faceted, Strawberry Point Lutheran Home.
